Ekrem Imamoglu, Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), received the news that the case in which he was prosecuted for allegedly insulting former Supreme Election Board (YSK) Chairman Sadi Guven and board members was postponed to November 11, when he was leaving Istanbul Boys' High School he visited. Making his first statement on the subject on the steps of the school, under the intense interest of the students, İmamoglu said, “There is a lawsuit process that should not happen. The hearing of the evidence was extended to November with the hearing of witnesses. But a lawsuit is still ongoing, which, unfortunately, should not have happened. These are vacancies. Here is the full job; children, young people, future, life, life… These are the things they will produce. We need to prepare a future for them… That's the point. The other is empty.
